Home Learning Resources for Parents

If tech access at home is an issue, can we borrow a device?

Yes. We have a limited number of devices to loan to families in need. We have a limited number of iPads for TK and K and Chromebooks for 1st-8th.

We are no longer hosting pick up times at the District Office. Your principal will send out info for pick up of devices and other materials for the week of August 10th at your school site:

Please follow directions below before picking it up:

  • Please do not ask questions of staff about how to use the Chromebook when you pick it up, you can find info here
  • For safety, before using the Chromebook, wipe it down with an Alcohol/water solution on a clean, soft paper towel. Do NOT spray directly on device, and allow it to air dry before closing the Chromebook.

What if I need a Hotspot?

For families that have NO home Internet, we have a very limited number of Hot Spots available. The good news is that most cell carriers are offering hot spots at no extra charge with your cell phone plan, so you can simply turn your cell phone into a hot spot. Reach out to your carrier for more information. Below are some additional resources to explore:

  • Comcast Internet Essentials - 60 days of free home Internet for low-income families. Comcast Link
  • Access from AT&T- Making home Internet affordable for you. For low income households, cost is $5-$10 a month. AT&T Link
  • Xfinity is opening up free WiFi hotspots in certain locations – check the map at Xfinity Link by clicking on the map and entering a zip code.
